Alpha black one

Recommended Posts

Hey this is M1Carbine9 Leader of ALPHA BLACK ONE an OFP Addons team and productions. Currently we do not have a site, although one is being pieced together soonish. We're also looking for anyone with OFP editing skills whether it be modelling/skinning, scripting, mission making, ect. We're pretty laid back and do not have strict due dtes or project outlines, you can even work on your own stuff and make whatever you like as a team member and release it through ABO. We'll be doing modern Era things mostly. Some team projects will be issued that is if people want to do them and will have fun about it. As said we're pretty lax. Looking foward to opening our site to show you what we're all about. Thanks

Peace.

M1carbine9

ABO Team Leader

Your team doesn't seem to have very solid objectives. If you're into modern units and weapons, why not simply join one of the many addon teams that are into this line? You may find out that what you're planning on doing is already being worked on or soon to be released by established, experienced teams.

yeah we do have planed addons acctually--shoulda said so, and i've spoken with other addon teams as well. So far members on ABO are established addon makers, with good prjects. I know what you mean, we may also do some work on realistic US Army units for 1985 time era as well. smile.gif

That would be a great idea you would be hailed as kings if you can get that one down pat.

Indeed, those two vehicles are one of the most asked ones...

I'm really interested in seeing stuff like this get made. I assume you're talking about units like the CIA's Special Activities Division.

Here's some images from Afghanistan to help you out (if you haven't seen them before)...

These guys seem to be the first in to any conflict, and would be great in an OFP mission where you have to contact the locals. smile.gif

Looking forward to any progress you guys make smile.gif

If you accomplish that, then you'd be really good.. Not even BAS managed to replace NVGs or Binoculars.... or so it seems.. I've tried, but no luck...

I'm guessing it can't be done. NVGs are just some sort of distorter to produce a grainy graphics image in green that is brighter than the surrounding darkness.

For thermal imaging OFP would have to have some built in graphics interface that distinguishes between objects on the current screen and you just don't see that anywhere in OFP, do you? confused.gif

Very well then smile.gif

We're also going to make the first new type of addon but its not an addon, it'll most likely be a replacement of the default OFP game units....A replacement you'll like wink.gif
