Andreas 0 Posted November 9, 2001 Place the group of people a little distance from the Blackhawk e.g. if your Blackhawk is in grid location ED34 Place the group in ED33 and then move them up to the chopper. Now where is my Diablo???
Guest Posted November 9, 2001 That's not the wat to do it. just put them near the chopper, and when they're grouped, press F2, click over the units (and keep the mousebutton pressed!) And drag those lines to anywhere over the battlefield (not over other units ofcourse)
Aculaud 0 Posted November 9, 2001 AH AH AH AH! no one gets the diablo just yet, thats not what i wanted. I need to START IN THE BLACK HAWK WHILE ITS IN THE AIR EN-ROUTE TO ITS DROP ZONE, but i dont want to be grouped with it, because then i have two other pilots to baby sit. Chris Death 0 Posted November 9, 2001 Ok so let's forget the fact, that this is one of the most answered questions and you could find it by search function. 1 place your unit on map, and give him a name (e.g. a1) you could also place a whole group and then click on the group leader and give him a name then. 2 place a chopper (same side as unit) and give him a name (e.g. c1) - on the special field select: fly 3 press the F2 button and drag off the group line from chopper to your unit, so that they won't be grouped together anymore 4 in init field of unit a1 type following: grp=group this; (for grp you can use how you want to name the group) "_x moveincargo c1" foreach units group this (don't forget to leave a space btw the ";" and the "_x move..." Whoops now you starting in a chopper in the air So if you want to know now how to get off this chopper again - this should be worth at least a second Diablo. One hint for free - it has to do with the unassignvehicle command.
Rob 1 Posted November 9, 2001 in the blokes init field use the command line grp = group this; "_x moveincargo <heliname>" foreach units grp. if u want the unit to get out then make a trigger and grp it with the unit and in the on activation field use <unitname> unassignvehicle <vehiclename> like DV said but easier to understand.
