Black hawk sound

Is there any soundpack or is anyone interested in making a soundpack for OFP using Black Hawk sound imported from BlackHawk Down the movie? It would be great.

I'm using Battlefield Insane Soundpack by Laitex (http://svd.s20.xrea.com), which has amongst other things got sounds from America's Army for rifle sounds. I'll e-mail him asking if he can import the sound from BHD.

do you mean like that cool sound that the black hawk made when it was hoovering/strafing above mogadishu? id kill for a sound pack like that

Don't know which cool sound you mean, but their sound anyway. At any point in the movie.

Nice, how do you record sound from movies? What will you do with it, import into OFP?

I e-mailed Laitex, the author of Battlefield Insane Soundpack, and he said that the BH engine sound he has is "quite similar to that of BHD," but that he's planning to import other sounds from BHD, "e.g. M2 gun, AK47, bullet ricochets and vehicle engine sounds". He's really good.

good to hear, cause i would like being able to hear that awesome sound of the ak-47 when your couple blocks away

Why don't you just steal the sound from Hitman one or the Global Ops demo. The only AK47 sound I heard in BHD that was good was fired in bursts, and it won't sound all that great ingame.
