icemaniac_02 0 Posted March 8, 2003 well, i finally got my copy of OFP:CWC. and i need to know how i do the patch upgrade. i have WinRar, so it isnt as easy as winzip, but it works, i tried unzippping the file into the main OFP directory but it didnt work, where exactly do i unzip it to? oh and when i double click on the icon it says OFP is not installed right and\or a file is corrupted. it seems fine to me. btw: what color is the ground suppose to be? on my computer it is pure white. i think its supposed to br green, but i'll just pretend its snow. I have version 1.20(US): > Ultimate upgrade 3 (v1.30) > Patch 1.46. ^ thats what i downloaded. my game says its still version 1.20 do i need to download the Ultimate Upgrade 2? or what? and where do i install them to? or unzip. Placebo 31 Posted March 8, 2003 Being new the first thing you should have taken a read of is the forum rules which would have told you to search before posting. Doing a search for "white" in troubleshooting would have definitely found you an answer, doing a search for patch might not have but the white search would have found you a link to the FAQ and doing a search for patch in there would have given you the patching order. Placebo 31 Posted March 9, 2003 It doesn't matter where you unzip them, in fact you shouldn't need to unzip them, simply open the zip file and then double click the exe from inside the zip file and it will extract to your temp directory and install, if it's not installing then most likely there is a problem with your Opf installation. icemaniac_02 0 Posted March 9, 2003 ok, i did everything you guys suggested, i reinstalled it 3 times, still nothing, i looked for muli-texturing but its not in any video menu or anywhere i was told i need version 1.30 or whatever for it to be there, which i cant do. nothing works, any other suggestions? If you observed anything different or if you have seen any error message at any stage, please, write it here: When you downloaded the 1.30 upgrade from out web site, it should be a single zip file named ofppatch_upgrade3-v1_30.zip . When unzipping it, single large exe named like OFPPatch_Upgrade_1_30.exe should be there. When you run this exe, window should open reporting patching progress step by step. Just follow the instruction (i.e. put in your disk) and the game should get patched. about the image: just put your pic somewhere on a webserver (it's not possible to upload the file to the forum), then use the image button above - enter the url of your pic and ikonboard will insert some code in your messgae that will make the image show up when you post it.
