How to reverse disableai "move"

Does anybody know of a way to re-enable the AI after stopping him moving with disableAi "move" confused.gif

disableAI "FALSE" ?

This was the case before 1.75, but now....??

As far as I know, there is not way to "enable AI". There is a workaround, but it's not perfect either. What you can do is, rather than using DisableAI, use DoStop. When the soldier is alone, this usually keeps him in place, but when he's part of a group, the commander will issue an order, and he'll run off (usually an "engage" command sets them off). However, this can be used to a cool effect, as half the squad moves to engage, the other half remains in position. But of course, in building this leads to intelligent things like flying out windows, etc.

I think there were requests to BIS to give us an EnableAI command, but I don't belive they ever implemented it.

you could get the unit's position, weapon loadout, and direction then delete him and recreate the unit setting him up as he was before but not using the disableAI command on him.

The comref says this is obsolete though....

Maybe just giving a unit a MOVE afterwards will work.....
