Gunter Severloh 4051 Posted July 31, 2023 (edited) WeaponSights_Zoom Overhaul by WheelAxle & Gunter Severloh Description When you look down the iron sights of infantry weapons in Arma 3 some of the sights are very small, making it challenging to hit anything unless you're close or use the zoom feature to zoom or magnify the sights. What does this do? This addon will automatically zoom iron sights & attachments sights for all infantry weapons to the max when you normally had to hold rmb or use the zoom key. Rifles Semi-Rifles Assault Rifles Sub-machine guns Machine guns Pistols Launchers without scopes Sight Attachments Author Notes: Built this addon off of Gunter's original and incorporated his IFA3 and RHS mod. CUP support is partial like the original, as there will be multiple scopes that aren't zoomed in. Created this addon because my finger was starting to hurt more and more as I'm getting old trying to hold the mouse down. Gunter had no plans for cdlcs. No Compats needed as the addon will automatically detect what cdlc/mods you are running and activate depending on which are loaded. Nothing else planned for now unless there are huge bugs. Ideally what i'd like to do and this was asked in the past on my other zoom versions is have the option where you can adjust the zoom to different settings via CBA. Whats really neat if for those of you who own Arma Reforger is, in that in the options you can not only adjust your FOV but also adjust the FOV of your weapon zoom, and any range, if i can get something like that for this mod then it would eliminate the different versions. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Maybe it's not so bad then... heh. Lame jokes aside, yeah, I used to love that in Battlefield 3 and 4 introduced some additional options. Then later, CoD adopted bunch of settings and these days you have something like Insurgency Sandstorm which is just FoV settings galore. 😄 Edit: Insurgency actually has bunch of sensitivity settings in regards to various FoV levels instead. Totally different thing but very useful nonetheless.
