The Fall of Khe Sanh

It's July 1968 and all US forces are retreating from Khe Sanh Combat Base, after several weeks of enemy artillery bombardment. Your helicopter crew must evacuate men and equipment from the USMC outposts surrounding the main base.

The Fall of Khe Sanh is a flight mission for ArmA3's S.O.G Prairie Fire setting. I wanted to make a helicopter mission that's not just another "trainer" where you never actually get to do anything as a pilot. Here you will command a fully loaded Bell UH-1D Iroquois into an ever-changing combat zone. You and your crew will perform insertions, hot extractions and transport runs through hostile environments. The mission is voice acted with cinematic cutscenes.

The Fall of Khe Sanh exists in both a multiplayer and a singleplayer version. The MP version has 18 playable slots and lets you play the entire helicopter crew, or join one of the infantry forces on the ground in need of a support helicopter. There's is no respwn, so you'll have to rely on the revive system.

Both the singleplayer and the multiplayer versions of The Fall of Khe Sanh are now uploaded to Steam. Links in first post. Feedback is more than welcome, here as well as in the Steam Workshop comments.

I just gave the multiplayer version of The Fall of Khe Sanh a test run, and left most of the decision making to the AI team leaders. It takes the AI about 45 minutes to complete their part of the mission by themselves (they do needs a little help from time to time). This means that you can play the game as any character, without the need for a human leader.

Air mission? COOP? Scripted? No extraneous mods to load on the server and players? Valuable stuff!

A few questions of convenience for me:

For how many players is this meant?
Is there an assigned Zeus (to eg debug JIP players who miss scripted events or spawn points)?
Approximately how long would you expect 4 players need to complete the mission?

Looking forward to future endeavors, and perhaps willing to help with debugging.

There are 18 playable slots in three different squads (helo crew, artillery crew and ARVN squad). 2-4 players is ideal. They should be able to finish the mission in 30-45 minutes. A bit longer than that if no one flies the helo. There are no Zeus modules in the mission, and no respawn. It is intended for hosted MP without JIP.
