SpecOp9 0 Posted February 19, 2003 I have created something where we host players statistics once they finish a MP game, and we keep all the recorded Statistics in a database area for you to view at anytime. We also have a Reward system, much like if you ever played Perfect Dark. In Perfect Dark you are awarded in 4 diffrent things, such as Accuracy, Killmaster, Survivor ETC. We have modified this sytem and changed it around... Kill Master: You need to have aquired 50 kills to earn this award Tank Buster: You need to have aquired 6 kills to earn this award Air Master: You need to have aquired 3 kills to earn this award Idiot Award: You need to have died 15 times to get this award OFP Deathmaster: You need to have had a TOTAL of 85 to aquire this award If you are interested, and would like to join, please visit http://www.geocities.com/ofpdeadzone/statspage.html Thank you Spec Op

Lots of people print their stats screen for display purposes. Does your program interfere with that? Maybe you should use some other key or key combo. suchey 0 Posted February 19, 2003 </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote (Lt_Damage @ Feb. 18 2003,12:52)</td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">How are the stats collected from the game after the match finishes?<span id='postcolor'> we have a similar system in use on the MTCO server...ours uses PHP to determine when to collect the stats and is based on the source code for the 'real time server query' released a while back. Â It uses a "flat file" system to hold stats for any player that plays on the server. Â Our award section then parses out the top 5 player for each of our 4 categories in real time which include: Silver Star (top 5 overall scores for server) Sharpshooter (top 5 score to death ratios on server) Good Conduct (top 5 players completing most overall missions) Purple Heart (5 players who have died the most) The stats are cleared and awards are confirred at the end of each month to the players who hold those spots in the form of "pocket tabs" which will then appear by their name. Â Subsiquent awards are denoted by the addition of stars to the tab. Â The award winners are then all saved to a monthly 'hall of fame' section. Â The awards are manually added each month but the rest of the system is automated. Lt_Damage 0 Posted February 19, 2003 Suchey, any chance of us using this php system aswell? I am in talks with a company that will start doing tournaments for cash, where players win cash prizes, this system could come in handy.
