Guest Posted September 9, 2021 This is a very annoying bug. I had issues with scripting, then once I finally fixed them, I cannot join my server once I have made changes to it's files. It feels like there is one hurdle after another and I will never get anything finished. I turned off saving, and battleye. Still, now when I try to get on my server I get kicked once I have chosen a role and the game loads. I have to wait 1 minute of voting time before I can run the mission, which is annoying enough, but now I would have to restart my Arma 3 after each and every small change I make to the script, which will definitely make me move on from creating anything. Is there a fix for this?

pierremgi 4908 Posted September 9, 2021 You can have a local dedicated server for your tests, with parameters you want, disabling battleye, vote or signature check. https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3:_Server_Config_File#Server_Security
Valken 623 Posted September 10, 2021 You need to reload the mission into the server, then the client joining it will "download" or just load the mission. Or wait until the server goes into vote mode then vote the new "version" in. I usually shut the LAN server down. Make edits to my mission, export to MP folder with the same file name, fire up the LAN server, ALT-TAB to the client and just login via LAN mode. No issues, next to no waiting except for launching the LAN server again as it locks the mission.pbo while active.
