Always crashes when I press right mouse multiple times to zoom.

Sounds like a hardware issue, i would suggest looking at your mouse, and gpu.

If you have new drivers for your gpu before it started crashing, then revert and see if it changes anything,

if you got the drivers after its been crashing then its not a driver issue obviously.

So your pressing the right ms button multiple times at once in succession to get it to zoom, or multiple times

as in once everytime you need to use it?

Lastly you can check your device manager for your mouse or gpu and see if there is any errors indicators coming up

on the icons of the mouse or the gcard, sometimes when they have errors it could result in a response like a crash

that depends what it is too.

If after this and anything else we could call @oldbear and see what he thinks about your specs, and situation with the

mouse, hes more an expert in this area with computers and such.

0xC0000135

Welcome to BI forums!
In the future use only English, as this is an English speaking forum.

As for the error see this:

0xC0000135 - STATUS_DLL_NOT_FOUND

The OS is unable to load a file that is required to run the game. A missing DLL may belong to the game, the OS or one of the required components (DirectX e.g.). Possible solutions:

  • Verify the integrity of the game cache using Steam.
  • Re-install DirectX.
  • Uninstall the Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable package (both x86 and x64 version), restart your computer and install the package again using this version (do not use the Repair function).
  • Run the Windows System File Check tool to repair corrupted system files.
  • To identify the precise DLL that is causing an issue.
  • Download a 64-bit version of the Microsoft Dependency Walker and open arma3_x64.exe with it. The libraries with a red icon are the corrupted ones.
  • Download a 32-bit version of the Microsoft Dependency Walker and open arma3.exe with it. The libraries with a red icon are the corrupted ones.

Hi everyone. Sorry for my bad english and poor competence.

I see that the problem is old but I ask for your patience because I have an outdated configuration: Amd Athlon 64 x2 64bit, 8 Gb RAM, 4 Gb Geforce gtx1650 GPU, Win 7 Sp1 on HDD, practically the minimum!

I play multiplayer on MGT server. For some time now I  had an "Arma3x64.exe Application error, instruction at 0xe60d251b referenced  to memory at 0xe60d251b. Memory could not be written". And the game crashes and closes. Recently another warning is added: "0xC0000005 Status_Access_Violation".

If important, I add these informations: recently I tried to install Windows 10 on PC because of my first problem (Application Error): it was failed because images on desktop was corrupted, the mouse left traces of itself on the monitor, logo and icons were divided into parts (the second on the left and the first on the right - strange explanation!) I tried with installing GPU drivers, but the system did not see the graphic card, only Microsoft integrated one. So I had to reinstall Win 7 from zero, reinstall Steam and Arma3 game too.

As an inexperienced person, I don't understand many things but I can try to reason about them. Here I read there are many "magicians" to whom I would like to ask their opinion. Could it be a hardware issue.... incorrect configuration... other? Depending on my PC, how should I configure the Launcher and in-game parameters? I thought: if the parameters were correct, either the problem is hardware or everything is fine.

I understand that it might seem like I want everything ready without making any effort, but I don't understand much and I will put my best will into it.

However, I thank you in advance for any good soul who wants to help. And if something else is needed, please ask.

I can't live without Arma3  😉

Thanks and cheers.

  • Start with posting your computer specs,
  • and an rpt
  • any mods your using
  • what mission if you downloaded,
  • created, ect,.
  • sp, or mp
  • then describe the issue.

Hey guys, I'm gonna try to follow this format before exposing my issue (0xC0000005 - STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION)

  • i7-13700KF, RTX 3060 Ti 8G, 32GB DDR5, Z690 Gaming X
  • RPT link : https://mega.nz/file/c3JWiKJS#cpqLUxzEYLDRbLb4y2jk77oknpYijzkUKhglcJklcnc
  • Mods : CUP Terrains - Core / BOP_Left_Behind / Enhanced Movement / Breaking Point
  • No mission
  • MP only on [BOP] servers
  • Issue : crash game with this error 0xC0000005 - STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION, on each session but with conditions.

I'm playing again this old (but still maintained) mod Breaking Point after a 6 years gap and I still got this memory error. My computer is completely different than before, OS too and it happens exactly like before, I remember it (in this mod, this crash can be extremely "costly" if you're not lucky). So I don't focus too much on hardware or OS at fault since it still happens, more or less the same.

This crash happens with some conditions, I can somehow repeat it (but without a specific timing). It happens each time I drive/pilot a vehicle for a decent period of time. Usually it happens randomly during the first 15 mins of driving : I crash, I stop everything including arma 3 launcher for BE, restart, reconnect and then It's ok for a while (few hours) before happening again. Sometimes it's fine during a while and hit me randomly later. But it happens every times I play for a let's say 1h session. If I'm on foot, no driving, it does not happen. Flying or driving makes no difference, same "random" feeling when it hits.  I must add : it's not specific to me. Passengers in my car/heli can suddenly crash too with this same error code. But on foot, we're all fine.

I'm playing on Altis/Malden only, and I'm 25% of the same time driving something. I guess the relation with vehicles is memory "consumption" since travelling fast means more things to load. There is no map localisation relation, it hits the same everywhere (including middle of the sea, meaning instant death or 3 hrs swim).

After reading all those comments, I will try a few things

- Launch option -malloc=system

- Disabling completely Windows Defender

- Using a RAM cleaner like ISLC in the background. I only use it for Tarkov and it really helps ! Can't hurt to try right ?

I'm now waiting for someone with more knowledge and patience than me to maybe solve this old mystery. It was a well-known issue back in the days when the mod was very popular : the "driving/flying curse" hitting you with no mercy, usually at the worst time possible ^^. Old mod devs were blaming 100% Arma 3 for this. Not their mod code. I tend to trust them (serious ppl). Tks for reading.

RPT link

Hi, i would suggest a new rpt, as what you have there doesn't really show anything, need a full rpt from here

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Arma 3

Start the game, get on the server and play like normal, make sure you have your logs on, to do that

in the arma 3 launcher under the parameters tab look for [ ] no logs

make sure that box is unchecked.

Once the game crashes then go to that folder and open the rpt, copy it all and paste it here:  https://justpaste.it/

the paste the link in your reply, it will be alot faster and simpler then uploading a file.

    Do you get crashes in singleplayer, like if you placed a vehicle, plane ect,. in the editor and drove and flew

them there would the crash still occur?

Also have you tried other servers?

You should also google search arma 3 breaking point and see if anyone else is posting about any similar issues and if they fixed them or

discovered something about them, it could not be your computer, it could be the mod itself in combination with your ingame settings.

      It could be a new bug with that mod in relation to the latest version of the game, so make sure you get the latest rpt it will reveal alot.

It's sadly happening again...

RPT #1 : https://justpaste.it/9lqol Arma3_x64_2024-05-02_15-27-25.rpt *should be this one

RPT #2 : https://justpaste.it/a0uby Arma3_x64_2024-05-02_15-46-05.rpt

RPT #3 : https://justpaste.it/7yg85 Arma3_x64_2024-05-02_15-46-34.rpt

(not sure anymore which one was created directly after the crash sry, I've reconnected shortly after)

Tried Editor with nod mods (not possible otherwise with BP) : no crash so far. I should test it more. same conditions (Altis, fast vehicle, long distance, long timing).

Same results on other [BOP] servers. Only those servers are using this mod.

Not trying other mods/servers atm.

I googled already a lot but the mod playerbase is severely limited since a while, not much to find.

Thanks for the rpt's and the information, well done.

From the first rpt i see this:

Spoiler

15:41:59 Error in expression <] spawn BIS_fnc_textTiles;

systemChat _radiomessage;
};
};>
15:41:59   Error position: <_radiomessage;
};
};>
15:41:59   Error Undefined variable in expression: _radiomessage
15:41:59 File mpmissions\__CUR_MP.Altis\SMS_Client_scripts.sqf..., line 20

I dont seeing this to be the main culprit of the game crashing as its just a systemchat error, so no biggie really, probably can ignore it.

2nd rpt i see this:

15:46:08 Conflicting addon exile_client in 'breakingpoint_anim\', previous definition in 'bop_left_behind\'

thats the @BOP_Left_Behind mod your using, is that required to play?

i would try without that on the server and enhanced movement to see if anything changes, thats unless the BOP mod is required,

i know enhanced movement wouldn't be.

3rd rpt is the same error:

15:46:37 Conflicting addon exile_client in 'breakingpoint_anim\', previous definition in 'bop_left_behind\'

==============

I'm pondering the idea that issue could be related to your cpu and gpu somehow, considering Arma's engine is limited in how many cores

it can handle, but i think thats the issue is how your computer is handling aspecs of the game.

As far as the rpts go, theres really nothing there to indicate any cause for crash, not at least anything that stands out.

Your crash error though being this: error 0xC0000005 - STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION

you can find info on that, and how to maybe do some things about it here:

https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3:_Unusual_Process_Exit#0xC0000005_-_ACCESS_VIOLATION
