Pistol proxies

Can someone give me an idea of which LOD's I need to add pistol proxies to so they can carry pistols and use them. Thanks.

well, the ones that have the ak-47, rpg-7 and other proxies in anyway...

yes i need to update soldier units modelled in o2lite

so they can carry and use pistols,does anyone know

the proxy name and position fo the lods?

A-lone-wolf made a model of a soldier with a pistol. You could open it and copy/paste the proxies into your model...

Other question, same topic: How do I implement a nightvision-proxy? What's it's name? And can I customize it by using my own proxy?

Der Bastler - the NVG is well and truly hard coded into the game, and cannot be changed... same goes for the Binoculars sad.gif

the proxy is called nvg_proxy btw

Can anyone point me to a good tutorial for adding pistol animations to pre-resistance models? I would like to update the old USMC Ghillie sniper to be able to hold a pistol (for personal use, at least until I get permission from the author).

You need this LODs for a pistol:

Distance LODs (3 are enough):

0.000

5.000

9.000

View-Gunner

Memory (the most important one)

dont place it in the first person wiev LOD.
