MaxPower44 1 Posted January 25, 2003 RalphWiggum, I talk about 0-9 end not 0-0 Hovmand, can you explain me, please ?
InqWiper 0 Posted January 25, 2003 I think you just create a folder in your user folder named "sounds" and then put .ogg-files in them. You can then access 0-9 and see a list of the soundfiles in your folder. If the soundfile is named Something then you can press 0-9 and see Something in the list. Make sure the soundfiles arent too big because it takes alot of time for everyone to load them. I think some servers have a limit that will disconnect you if your sounds folder is larger than 100k or something. I and the people I use to play with had fun with these sounds in the start and used them all the time, but after like a week or two it got old and now none of us have them left I think. There was a thread about this pretty long time ago.

HellToupee 0 Posted January 25, 2003 i tried to connect to stoners once a few people had sounds almost all had faces and xmls, well once i connected about with 24 ppl on the server my tmp folder was around 6 megs.
iNeo 0 Posted January 26, 2003 You name the folder Sound, not Sounds. If you name the file "Bla bla" it will say Bla bla in the 0-9 menu, and if you choose the Bla bla option, you'll say "Bla bla" on the chat side you are on.

Recently, I've been pretty annoyed by some in game pop-up windows telling me something like "Cannot load tmp\some-idiot.jpg face". Yeah, that means clicking OK before you can do anyting else. iNeo 0 Posted January 27, 2003 Well, there are limits which the server can set.
