multiplayer question

i wanna buy OF,but i got a few questions first

1.

if u wanna play online, do u really need ip-adress, or is there something like a lobby where u click on a game and u join??

2.

r there many online players??

Game Spy arcade usually has 300-400 logged into the OFP lobby. Better way to play is using the ASE and connect to dedicated servers. http://www.udpsoft.com/

even better way to learn is join a squad, this way someone will take the time to show you the do's and don't instead of being frustrated w/ "the new guy"

There are a ton of squads listed in the squads page, let someone know where you live and how much you are interested in playing.

Our squad plays about 3 times per week but we are also a flying unit as well.

You are welcome to just give us a test run to see if we meet your standards. Just let me know and we can set something up or you can just check the open games if that is more your cup of tea?

Yeah, join a squad thats the best thing. I did and I aint sorry about it.

Im a proud member, ranked "potato peeler" (which I probably shouldnt have mentioned), of Operation Flashpoint Kompaniet, OFK, commonly just known as Kompaniet.

Have to be Swede (aka Svenne) to join though. And it help to have a nonkrasching computer.

ok thnx...im playing delta force landwarrior aswell inm a squad...and we might play OF with the squad...but i like OF because all the vehicles etc....just downloaded the demo so i gonna play...thnx for the info

You mean in the demo? Dunno, they're called AI in full version. Just search for AI and find out about their very own rules here in the forum

I never tried the Demo since I have the full version, but including the Mission Editor, or allowing you to pick a user-made mission, would defeat the idea of a limited-functionality demo.

Anyway, I don't think you can add 'bots (AIs) in the Demo.
