stanolli 3 Posted March 6, 2020 Hello, can you explain why this is in the game now? i can not see the differences between hit the y-button to show the lobby that i am ready or not.
Matthew Aiken 133 Posted March 6, 2020 Never seen it happen yet because the entire lobby never readies up but I believe this is to skip the load timer if everyone consents to it. It’s the same as how most halo games work multiplayer.
c00ster 30 Posted December 22, 2020 I wish MF's would hit the Y button in the lobby. It already takes enough time to load each encounter without having to wait for slackers. I propose if they DON'T hit the Y button, they get booted when the clock gets to 0. 3
Matthew Aiken 133 Posted December 22, 2020 Good shout I suppose but a bit unfair given some people might simply be waiting out the clock to see if anyone boosts the game. Can be a strategic venture the pre-round load time
c00ster 30 Posted December 23, 2020 Oh, so they are waiting on purpose? I thought they were just running to the fridge or something. lol I used to add boosts, but they are rarely worth the crown. Also seems like every time I do it, they start me out miles away from any loot.
Matthew Aiken 133 Posted December 24, 2020 I know that’s what I do I wait to see if anyone boosts then boost myself if it’s worth it. But I know the feeling, unless your 250%+ not much difference, don’t ever boost the crate unless you know the red chest spawns and intend to run the circuit trying to find it with stealth drop on at the coms. Only boost on maps I’m confident on the spawns and don’t risk the main drop, too sweaty
c00ster 30 Posted January 1, 2021 I don't see what the point of waiting is though, can you leave the encounter once the player load screen appears? I don't see any way to leave and when I first started playing, I didn't press the Y button and it took me into the encounter anyway. If you can't opt out, why wait? c00ster 30 Posted January 18, 2021 IS there a way to leave the encounter load screen? I do see players dropping out before the encounter begins, but I have never figured out how to do it. It would be nice to be able to cancel your encounter (during the encounter load screen) when you realize you forgot to bring a weapon or ammo.
Kingm4k3r1 18 Posted January 23, 2021 Although the wait can be annoying i find it useful for judging how to play the map,if theres to many good players i stay away from objectives and gather and vice versa

Could you please tell me what to do?
c00ster 30 Posted June 17, 2022 I still don't see why people don't 'ready in' at the encounter lobby. Whether you do or not, you're still stuck in the encounter either way. If you don't press the 'Y' button, all it does is make everyone in the room have to wait longer to start the encounter. And there is always at least 1 person who doesn't do it. I'd understand if not pressing the 'Y' allowed you to leave the encounter when it starts, so you could enter another one to see if people boost loot- but since you're stuck in that encounter anyway- doesn't make any sense.
