Milkman 1 Posted January 18, 2003 Well all was dandy untill today; i had just finished my overview.html file and placed in my mission that i was working on. I went into mission editor and when to preview my almost complete creation, only to notice that all the notes and objectives section were gone. Funny, i thought, maybe the editor had some kinda bug, and maybe i should just go ahead and export the mission to sp. So i did and to my dismay i learned my overview was not working either. I know i did everything right, the briefing was working great but as soon as i put in the overview, it stopped working. Once again fellow OFP players, i call apon your help in solving this dilemma. Milkman 1 Posted January 18, 2003 please someone tell me whats going on! It was all working fine but now the notes and objectives wont show!
Bart.Jan 0 Posted January 18, 2003 At http://www.flashpoint1985.com/docs/briefing.html is working example. Try to use it. If it will work check in your briefing all <br>,<hr>,<p>,</p> ... tags. Check if you have them in places where they are needed.
KingN 251 Posted January 18, 2003 Have you tried removing the overview and testing the mission only with the briefing part only again? If it doesn't work then, I think you should check the briefing part once over. I'm quite sure you have something wrong with it. The texts tends to get invisible or get mixed between objectives and notes in ofp if you do something wrong in the .html.
Milkman 1 Posted January 19, 2003 i removed the overview, but it still didnt work, and i ended up doing the briefing all over again. But nomatter what i do to the Overview, it dosnt show up. I copied a overview from another mission, didnt change it at all and the overview worked. But if i changed one letter, it wouldnt show up at all.
Skul 0 Posted January 19, 2003 That happened with me, too. My other missions worked with the OFP Briefing Editor(except the picture on the overview doesn't show up! Argh!. Is it because my mission is on Resistance? If it's on resistance, Milkman, maybe that's why it doesn't work. If not, then I don't know. OFP is too complex for us regular joes! lol

Maybe it's saved as *.html.txt
