Also it will be nice if they improve the blood texture and some units texture on next version(for example,the police and SWAT team) pic1 pic2 and I'm sure ROC army doesn't have UH-60, but they use UH-1@@. I think it would make the campaign even better than it is now (I love this campaign right now too). Compared to the Airborne campaign (I'm stuck on my first mass-paradrop mission right now - it's tough! it was pretty hard, in that you had fewer men to do more with. Definately took some time and effort to overcome, but fun and worth it. After this, I'm going to revert back to graduation and pick Marine Corps and then Army. Does anyone know how to edit campaigns? Wonder 0 Posted January 29, 2003 I was delighted to see this branching campaign. I tried 3 times to get through the first SF training. Now i'm at the HALO training, but me and my mates are always dropped in the sea! When i played the earlier version of the campaign I had a problem with the other SF training mission, where you had to shoot targets behind civilian targets. I think it was because I kept moving when I was in the air. I finally tried it where I would jump from the plane and not touch anything until I deployed my parachute and that worked. Also, I've found that if you don't select 'continue' the mission, often the C-130 will drop you in an entirely different place. I found this out playing my first mass-jump airborne mission, when every time I try it, I get a different LZ. I don't think those training targets were supposed to do anything except fall? Ps: I read another artcle which asked about the PLA and ROC crruent equipment, and they said they couldn't do that because didnt have enough people to make new 3d model. hellfish6 7 Posted January 29, 2003 Well... I think a lot of the equipment we have now could be used as Chinese equipment with a little bit of .CPP changes and some clever retexturing. As I said on page 4, there are at least four vehicles currently in existence for OFP that can be fairly easily modified to represent PLA vehicles. Sigma-6's Type 98, the BIS BMP-1, DKM's Patria and the BIS T-55. Also, now that I've given it a bit more thought, the BIS Mi-17, any of the UH-1s and some other stuff could, with the proper retexturing, be perfect for this mod. Wonder 0 Posted January 31, 2003 Well, i tried restarting the SF HALO and "snipping" training mission. 1 out of ten times i was "dropt" over land, so as soon as i noticed that i was going to land feet dry i saved! Editor 1.02 is installed that came with .zip and everything else too. I de-pbo the campaign and could not find objects add-on in missions.sqm. Can y'all help me please? Thanks in advance.
