Oldninja 213 Posted November 28, 2019 I made a similar suggestion back at v0.6 or v0.7, and I feel it maybe worth airing again. I have more materials than I can ever use and add more on a daily basis. I assume many more outlanders are in the same position. My suggestion is this. Current scrap values for resources are :- 1 unit of Chemicals = 50 materials 1 unit of Fertliser = 10 materials 1 unit of Glass = 10 materials 1 unit of Fuel = 200 materials 1 unit of Electronics = 200 materials 1 unit of Wire = 1 materials 1 unit of Metal Parts = 1 materials 1 unit of Nails = 5 materials. . Could we not trade in our materials in the same way for Resources? Example :- Trading in 500 materials gets you 1 unit of Chemicals Trading in 100 materials gets you 1 unit of Fertiliser Trading in 2000 materials gets you 1 unit of Fuel etc etc . Just a suggestion to help keep the upgrades going along nicely by utilising materials collected at the shelter and through scraping looted weapons, ammo and consumables that are surplus to your requirements. MercWarlord 13 Posted November 28, 2019 I think I skipped over when you first posted this Idea. I think it's a great plan. The choice of more resources for upgrades or more materials for weapons isn't bad at all! Also, maybe finally a chance to do something with food donations. Tartansnake 7 Posted November 29, 2019 Not sure who suggested this but I like the idea of a trader coming to the dock at the shelter. Just throwing ideas out: * Could come every 5 days so doesn't always fall on a weekend. * Items for trade change each vist. * Could have a side mission that gains a reward. (Short on foods so needs you to donate x amout before they leave) So combine the boat trader with ninja's is idea = winning 🙂 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
