Add two vertices to your memory LOD and name them "levy prach" and "pravy prach" and see what that does. Place the vertices behind or nearby the wheels.

I have a tank and moving levy prach and pravy prach around do nothing to change the dust being generated from the centre of the vehicle.

The dust for an M1A1 is lower and actually looks as if it comes from the tracks.

I have moved them up, down left and right in the memory LOD.

I have checked the spelling of levy, pravy and prach with the list of Czech words in the Oxtgen doc forum.

How do tanks generate dust or what am I missing?

There's four single point selections in Memory-LOD of a tank in O2. Take the demo T72 as an example, or any other tank model.

The selections are named: "stopa LL", "stopa LR", "stopa RL" and "stopa RR"

All four combined are producing the brown dust that came from the tracks. (You also could see they're placed at the tracks! )

Regards

GM

Thanks General Motors your help is appreciated. I must have looked at the memory LOD for the T72 50 times while setting up my tank so I knew 'prach' wasn't there.

General Mortars is correct. it seems its the stopa(s) generating the smokes. But removing it from memory only make the smokes comes out from the centre. Could it be an inherited built in feature that comes with a tank class? or is there a czech term to be placed in the config to totally remove or reduce the dust?

Bratz, the prachs does nothing, any idea or used it successfully b4? sad.gif
