But anyways...about cops. Believe it or not, i got pulled over once for speeding, which i was and did not dispute. But out of nowhere the cop tried to open my car door and start searching it! Now, being a person well aware of my rights and when a cop can and can't search my car, i immediately yelled and stopped him. I notified him he had no probable cause and didn't even bother to ask me if he could. I asked why he felt it necessary to just up and search my vehicle. He said, and i quote "Well, you have your lip thing and your eyebrow pierced, so i thought you had to be up to something". WTF!?!? Seriously, this day and age, even my aunt has her eyebrow pierced. That was the stupidist thing i had ever heard and immediately started causing a raucous. Then his backup came, because nowadays you need 2-64 cops to pull over one car, and i told him what was going down. And the next cop said, and once again i quote "Well, if that isn't probable cause, then i don't know what is". Jesus H. Christ, are people really this stupid!? Granted, this was in some city right outside Chicago, and probably had nothing better to do, and if it was in chicago, i would of gotten my ticket and been on my way, hell, i probably wouldn't of even got pulled over. Someone needs to educate ignorant people, even more, ignorant cops. Sometimes its just too damn much.
Ex-RoNiN 0 Posted January 3, 2003 Strange, I thought you were Australian But I agree, piercings are dodgy Nah, seriously though, cops are good, show a bit of appreciation and respect and you will get the same back

Odd.... But, hey, i do respect cops. Granted, we aren't like cheese and crackers, but i've learned my place in this world. And when i get pulled over, i am always respectful. Usually because i know if i was speeding and whatnot, and have no reason to argue. But these cops were just idiots. And i knew they had no right to even open my door and stick their heads in, its the law for them to ask without probable cause, and they broke the law. The cop became the criminal, and thats the truth. They had no reason to do that, and i had plenty reason to get mad. And why in gods name did you think i was an aussie!? SOme cops are seriously psychopathic.. and manage to slip through the cracks. Small penised individuals who desperately need to feel like 'real men' so they lord their authority and power over anyone. And god help you if you arent always 100% properly respectful. Sadly, that (rather small) group gives the good cops a bad name. Sometimes I think they need to do a lot more psychological screening when people apply to become cops. And pins...did you get busted with a bag of weed? Hehehe. Soon in Canada you'll be able to posess up to 30 grams, and all you get hit with is a fine if you're busted. Whee

Whee <span id='postcolor'> *moves to Canada* A fine, good god i wish i could get busted with an ounce and just get a fine. According to NORML's state law page, you can get 1-3 years and/or a $25,000 fine! Of course, i've gotten busted with 2 ounces before and was in jail for just 2 days and got released without anything, just those 2 days in jail. Yea, definately moving to Canada, def-def-definately Canada George.

Well, it's not there yet. The Ontario Spreme Court invalidated Canadas marijauna law, so its looking like things will go that way in the long run, and sooner rather than later. Tex -USMC- 0 Posted January 4, 2003 Have you ever been frisked? I mean really, really frisked? For no reason at all?
FSPilot 0 Posted January 4, 2003 No, I try not to break the law. Of course you're going to think you're innocent, most people do.
Tex -USMC- 0 Posted January 4, 2003 All I'm going to say on the subject is that after the initial threats, frisking and questioning I was never fined/jailed/beaten/tickled, so I like to think I was innocent both times, as does the US Judicial System, thank you so much.
