GTA Ming Smith 0 Posted January 26, 2019 Well... here we go, I've never really made a post about any problems on Arma 3 and seem to have been able to fix them myself apart from this one problem I've recently stumbled upon. Ever since I got an audiointerface (Focusrite Scarlett Solo 2nd Gen) which is running all my sounds from my pc, microphone refuses to work on Arma 3 (mind you that this mic is ran by the audiointerface and uses an XLR cable). My current setup: https://gyazo.com/378b328d7a556edb864f9c7b60ded96a Steam settings are as follows: https://gyazo.com/fc31ffd949f6da9e33195d4f253fd426 After conducting a mic test in steam itself and calling friends just to make sure my mic in steam is 100% functional, including tests on some of my other steam games, my mic doesn't seem to have any problems running there. As for my mic usage in Arma 3 itself.. I've had no problems using a microphone before using an audiointerface and if problems did indeed occur I was always able to fix it in my steam voice settings. The mic is running at 16 bits, 44100 Hz (Cd-quality): https://gyazo.com/9c5f1ca70e12d72735e0ed0bc90989fc If anyone has experienced a similar problem or has a sollution to this help would be appreciated! Sometimes there were problems sharing a microphone with multiple applications at the same time. But in the latest releases of Windows 10, it became possible to distribute input / output audio. Go to the settings for this path - Sound settings \ Advanced sound settings \ Device settings and application volume \. Arma3 game, select the device inputs / outputs for the game
