AfkMan 0 Posted December 15, 2018 Hello guys! I have a mission, the author made a few cities to be captured. I want to add more cities to play longer. Here's an author's code for the cities: class Params { class FrontLine { title = "START"; texts[] = {"Sofia", "Delfinaki", "Ioaninna", "Paros"}; values[] = {3389, 5316, 5871, 9680}; default = 3389; }; }; And now i wonder - where did he get those id's? How can i find such ID for a city?
gc8 977 Posted December 15, 2018 Does the number mean anything?

AfkMan 0 Posted December 15, 2018 I bet these number mean something, because it works. It's a part of Params class in Description.ext. When launching a mission you can choose a first city to start and it works. But where did he get those numbers?=)

gc8 977 Posted December 15, 2018 if you search the IDs through all the files with text editor you should see how they are used

Grumpy Old Man 3545 Posted December 15, 2018 No such thing as city IDs, there's probably another script picking the location based on the values from description.ext params. Other than that, ask the original mission author for permission to alter his mission and how to go about changing those values. Cheers 1
