Captive area

Ok this is prety hard

i want to have civilians been taken captives and put in a highly defended area i want officers on patrol but here it comes i ant lights looking fo people trying to escape and if it sees anyone trying to get out the alarm will sound and all the civilins will be killed i want an office so when you get there you gain accses to radio for a rescue team

i also want the civilians to all run when the alarm is sounded or when the recue team is there

From what I understand, he wants to have a prisoner camp full of civilian captives. Then he wants a directional search light to look for prisoners trying to escape. If anyone is actually detected in the light as trying to escape, he wants an alarm to go off, and for the prisoners to run while the guards attack.

And something about a radio. xmas.gif

That's a awfully big christmas wish... xmas.gif I'm surprised bn880 isn't playing santa.

But to get you started....simply..... You could use the ;

unitname SetCaptive True as well as; RemoveAllWeapons unitname And then triggers surrounding your captives and if they step past them;

unitname SetCaptive False I guess a script would be most useful for all of this...ah well hope this helps.

guess you missed that part Bosun.

Thge usage of setcaptive true would work if you changed side of civilians manually in mission.sqm. Open it up with notepad and changer their side to east or west whatever opposing side your enemies have. Than use setcaptive true.This way when set to setcaptive false the civillians will be shot at as they are assumed to be enemies for your oponents.
