pooroldspike 129 Posted August 25, 2018 I've logged over 3000 hours on the AA3 multiplayer servers, and I suspect some players might be cheating by using mods that give them an edge over the rest of us poor slobs. Is such a thing possible or am I being paranoid? In particular it seems they have x-ray vision through tall grass , bushes and shrubs, which therefore provide no cover to us behind them, grrrr... SzepyCZ 24 Posted August 25, 2018 it´s simple: look at PUBG - guess what anticheat they use - yes, battleye DayZ - battleye arma - unfortunately, battleye anticheats are always one step before cheat makers + bisigns were cracked waay long ago
FallujahMedic -FM- 867 Posted August 26, 2018 @pooroldspike You are correct in that some people do cheat. However, I'd like to point out that this thread is in the wrong location. It has nothing to do with ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE .
Janez 531 Posted August 27, 2018 I was also not impressed with this.
FallujahMedic -FM- 867 Posted August 27, 2018 @Janez Battleye has done that since day 1. The introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) meant that they (Battleeye) had to be explicit and public with the how, what, why of how data is processed.
Janez 531 Posted August 27, 2018 I understand what GDPR has achieved and it's a good thing. I wish that pop-up window was there since day one. However, I do not approve of most of those indents, hence have it disabled since.
