GimbleFIN_ 23 Posted July 20, 2018 Subject says it all. Just curious anyone know which one is it? Somewhat reasonable player-count makes me think games are hosted on player machines and there's nothing wrong with that. With assumption it just works smoothly and algorithms for picking "the right" Host for match is top notch? Ghost Recon Wildlands is a good example of this method done well. But if there are ded servers where are they? To avoid lag then we would probably need one for each continent of earth in long run.
Locklear 214 Posted July 20, 2018 There are dedicated servers located in multiple locations all over the globe.
GimbleFIN_ 23 Posted July 20, 2018 Ok thanks for reply good to hear! This came to my mind while I had a helluvalot lag in one game. But maybe it was one of my computers or Xbox in home network doing some huge updates or something simultaneously causing that. This is why I would appreciate a ping indication (a number, not some bars) in some corner in main menu. So that you'll notice you might have a connection issue before even try to play.
