Harzach 2507 Posted April 17, 2018 OK. When you run the Steam Arma launcher, you will see a "Mods" tab on the left. Spoiler Click the mods tab, and you will see all of the mods you have subscribed to in a list called "Available mods". Spoiler Start checking the mods you want to load, and they will be moved to the "Loaded mods" list. Spoiler Some mods depend upon others for resources. These are called "dependencies", and they are usually detected automatically. A new window will pop up when dependencies are detected, and you will be prompted to either load or ignore them. You should load them. Spoiler Once you have selected all of the mods you need to load, you can save them as a preset, which is very handy if you find yourself using more than one set of mods. Spoiler Spoiler The "PLAY" button will run Arma with whatever mods are in the "Loaded mods" list. Alternately, you can use the drop menu to select a different preset for your session, or to play without any mods at all. Spoiler Just remember, once you run the game, your mods stay loaded. If you decide to play a different mission with different mod requirements, or to play on a public MP server, you will need to quit the game and load the correct mods for your new session. Select single player > editor, select a terrain, then place whatever units/objects you would like. Harzach 2507 Posted April 18, 2018 In a mission, you use either the debug console (if available) or whatever system has been put in place for that purpose. For the former, you would use createVehicle. Example: _veh = "C_Offroad_01_F" createVehicle position player; This spawns an offroad next to the player. Make sure you are in a clear area. Again, the mission must be configured to allow the use of the console, so YMMV. In the editor, you must place a playable unit.
