Tankbuster 1747 Posted July 27, 2017 Maybe, maybe not. You don't have DDR5 RAM in your system, by the way. Two questions; What sort of game will you be playing? If you're going to be playing a Life type game or a large co-op, then definately, you won't get 60 FPS, no-one does. If you're playing single player stuff, then you might well get 60 FPS. But why do you feel you need to get this magic 60fps? You won't be doing any side-bunny-hop-rapid-fire-with-a-sniper rifle stuff in this game. This game is much more cerebral than that. 60 FPS is no use to you while you're prone in a bush watching the enemy from 2KM away through a rangefinder. 60 FPS is no use to you while the AI flank you. 60 FPS is no use to you while you hold a laser designator spot on a target for your teammate to drop LGB on. 60 FPS is no use to you while your crawl through deep jungle and your enemy is camped 15m away.
KeyCat 131 Posted July 27, 2017 GPU is probably fine but I would say that your CPU is to weak. You may be able to reach it with all things turned to lowest and view distance <800 m but that's just a guess. A3 loves high clock and fast RAM so aim for at least 4.0+ GHz and 3000+ MHz RAM. As Tankbuster say you should not expect to get 60 fps in MP or in SP with lots of AI even with a 4.0+ GHz CPU. That being said A3 play's just fine for me at 40-45 fps since it's not a twitch shooter but YMMW.
maquez 141 Posted August 3, 2017 with a 6700K and upwards you can expect stable 60 FPS in arma3. with your CPU you may expect arround 30-40 FPS
