iNeo 0 Posted November 8, 2002 I've often wanted to take a screenshot from a scene in a film, or music video. Just for fun. To save and send to others.
red oct 2 Posted November 8, 2002 i see. there could be some kinda programs out there that could help, maybe the microsoft forums could answer your question since its PC related.
USMC Sniper 0 Posted November 9, 2002 I suppose you could use print screen while the video is playing, and use creative sound recorder while the video is playing too (i know u didnt ask, but i thought you still might want to know). For the print screen, after you press it, go to paint brush, or any other pic program, and paste. You will then get a picture of your desktop and everything happening on it, including the picture of the movie. Then crop it so you only have the screen of the video playing. You could also use a screen capture program.
Renagade 0 Posted November 9, 2002 nope, u need to unencrypt the dvd then play it and then take the screeenshot with the print key or some other screencapture program. Its funny how these dvds with a screenshot gallery dont let u capture those screeenshots though Look for some dvd rippers and something to view or conveert the output files so u can watch them. Major Fubar 0 Posted November 9, 2002 It's a real pain in the ass that you have to rip DVDs to get a screen cap.
kegetys 2 Posted November 9, 2002 If you have it playing on your screen you can take a screenshot of it. If they player uses video overlays (most propably does) then you need a program that can capture those, hypersnap can for example.
Balschoiw 0 Posted November 9, 2002 also it works with GrapClipSave. It supports All DirectX modes. Link can be found in Free Stuff topic.
