Airbridge and Dustoff achievement question

For both achievements, do you have to do it in one session (for instance, transporting 10 groups of soldiers to a place within one battle without dying, or can it span over several battles/maps as soon as you don't die? How about dustoff, medvac 10 soldiers in the same map? Or can it span over several maps since I won;t have time to play it all in one day. Thanks in advance.

From my rusty memory it had to be done in one mission. This makes the medevac one harder as its a rarer mission type than the other.

 

Ive been meaning to get around to making a Support mission for Tanoa if anyone is interested.

My God mate, this is like impossible with the rare times Bohemia has official support game type servers going (now as I type this there is none, since 12 hours).... I had so much fun in them but 10 transports in 1 session is already pushing it (got shot down by a missile with my 8th transport), but medvacs, for that mission I only saw 2 total and I landed on one and the soldier was bugged, did not get it, kept aiming rifle at nothing...

 

I really, really enjoy this game mode! But Bohemia rarely has one server up that I often join and cannot play, it keeps saying "mission accomplished" each time I relog and join and it won't start. Bohemia, if you read this, please add more support servers and take out the many Zeus servers that have constantly 0 players (Zeus is fun too, but give room to at least 2 support servers that WORK btw)....

Dustoff counts all medevacs performed in Ground Support scenarios. Only Airbridge needs to be done within one mission. Still a challenge! Good luck!

Host it yourself.  By Official they mean Official Support missions; not official BI servers.
This is how I got the air bridge achievement.

 

Still working on the medevac one; nice to know that it counts across multiple sessions.

I hope it is not too complicated to host one, will give it a shot! Any tutorials or steps/easy steps how to go about that? I never did this.

Just host a local LAN game.  Not difficult at all.

Stratis GS mission is a coop one and probably the best one if you want to play GS alone. I've got my achievements in that one. And it's a good fun and challenge to play it solo..

hi guys, i dont think it will work LAN, in the airbridge it says it has to be multiplayer :/  or can you confirm you did it on LAN ?

Odd, I did the 10 transports now twice without being shot down, no achievement, but sure, on the additional 11th transport each time (to make sure I did not skip one), I was shot down by a missile once (got too close to enemy respawn), and the other one I didn't see this damned tree. So you are 100% positive that you can get it on LAN?

Ok confirming now, this works on LAN ! Finally got it done, pretty hard solo.

So you hosted your own game and did the 10 transports in one game?  Wow!  I haven't tried this in a long time, but 8 in one game was the highest I could get before my side won.  I guess I just need to be a faster pilot, but if you have any tips, please advise.
