nikiforos 450 Posted March 25, 2017 Hello, I wonder if I should disable HT for Arma 3 or not. Will I gain any better performance by disabling the hyperthreading? Thanks! System: i7-6700K @4.5 GTX 1070 DDR4 16 GB
maquez 141 Posted March 26, 2017 I have it enabled because I do use Tobii Eyetracker 4C, in hope that the tracker will use the other cores not occupied by arma3. I did not see any improvement in performance have it enabled nor I have any negative effects encountered. you can read also this, here Dwarden explains very well how it works: https://www.reddit.com/r/arma/comments/2k69ld/arma_3_hyperthreading/
pvt. partz 248 Posted April 4, 2017 From what I understand arma does not use hyper-threading. If your computer is primarily used for Arma, you should disable hyper-threading in the Bios. Another added benefit is a cooler running computer because hyper-threading creates more heat.
