VXR 9 Posted July 21, 2002 ok here we go! needed: M16.p3d M16.gif Ok lets check this first! When you are gone skin for example a M16 make a map where your buldozer is placed like d:/M16 place all your gif tga paa pac file you are gone use to skin the model in there the model also ofcourse also make sure your directory options are standing good When oxygen has been installed and configured correct we can go skin the model. Zoom in on the magazine Select to select the points of the side you want to skin. Now we take the right view Press "A" or and select the area where the picture has to show up click right mouse button and load the file M16_mag.gif now again right click on it and use the horizontal mirror. Move the corners around to make the picture fit on the model Press "B" on your keyboard to paste it on the model, to check if the picture is on the model look here, background mapping says it has been done. Now load buldozer with and look at the model how it looks Well done Soldier Vixer Thanks go out to BIstudio for the model

grayham 0 Posted September 20, 2002 I had the same problem until I did the following "Also double click on “DLL Folder†and put the path to your oxygen files. And example might be c:\Oxygen\02light If you fail to place the path to the oxygen files then the viewer will not work properly." from the installation guide, now it works. The buldozer still does not though....configbin error still!!!!!!
VXR 9 Posted September 20, 2002 where is your viewer located?
Fenix83 0 Posted November 20, 2002 Your bulldozer's files must be placed directly in your HD, not in a folder("C:\bulldozer.exe" or "D:\bulldozer.exe" etc...). You should make a partition only for OFP.
korzon 0 Posted November 23, 2002 Could you add to this tutorial informations about gizmo mapping from O2.?
VXR 9 Posted November 25, 2002 i will add the Gizmo mapping soon (when i figured out how to use it)

Place this line in the autoexec.bat: </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">SUBST H: C:\VIEWER<span id='postcolor'> (Drive H: is your virtual drive) 3. Reboot and now in windows explorer you have a new drive

cympatheey 0 Posted February 9, 2004 Uhhh make sure the texture is within the accepted dimensions. Abuus tutorial lists all the accepted dimensions it slike 64,128,256,512,1024 I think but 128 and 64 are right a 100 percent
scousejedi 0 Posted February 9, 2004 File -> Options you need to set the path to your texture. Your viewer should be in c:\ (as per Bis readme) c:\youraddon\youraddon.p3d c:\youraddon\yourtextures.* file -> Options -> Texture name prefix = youraddon\ quit and restart Oxygen and try again. .. If you dont want the viewer in your root then you are better off working through Brsseb's tutorial which tells you another way of setting up O2. http://www.ofp.info/brsseb
Planck 1 Posted February 9, 2004 You know guys.......my Oxygen setup is nothing like the way it is described in this thread, or indeed in the readme. I have Oxygen in: C:\Editing Tools\Oxygen\ Buldozer is also installed in the same folder: C:\Editing Tools\Oxygen\ Everything works just fine and dandy. I think the important things to set up right are: 1./ The path to the External viewer (buldozer), plus the command line switches, in my case: C:\Editing Tools\Oxygen\ buldozer.exe -noland -window 2./ The path to the DLL files, in my case: C:\Editing Tools\Oxygen\ At least it works just great for me.
