Identifying CUP provided maps

Recommended Posts

I am observing the CUP projects in Eden editor to acquire information on placement of objects / clutter / etc.

I understand the objects in these maps are not editable via Eden, but is there a way to locate the file path that it is reading them from?

For example, in Chenarus: I would like to know the .p3d used to create a bush at location (x, y)

I could imagine identifying these objects with TB, but I don't think you can open the CUP maps in TB (because there is no .tv4p?)

Thank you for forwarding me to this thread.

However, I am not talking specifically about CUP but any terrain in Eden.  Even when I bring in a custom map that I have made, I cannot identify the objects (that I placed via Terrain Builder).  So it is an Eden protocol I am trying to understand - are there different kinds of ways to read .p3d?  Because when I place an object, say tree4.p3d in Eden, and I already have a tree4.p3d from my terrain builder, Eden does not treat them equally.
