murderface0151 0 Posted August 15, 2016 i'd also like to add that im getting this issue regardless of Mods being ran, it happens in both Vanilla and running just CBA for when im going on a friends Dedi, Makes it incredibly difficult to ascertain enemy troop movement as your eye is constantly focusing on the trees changing color. If i stop and look at one area without moving my mouse or character it will look fine but as soon as i move or turn it starts having a spaz. Any help really would be appreciated :( I am running Vista 64 bit (yeah i know, Dinosaur) so im not able to download the new AMD Catalyst.Specs:AMD Phenom II 955 BE OC@3.8ghzSapphire HD77701gb4gb DDR2Run of the mill hard WD 500gb HDD.With this setup i get a solid 50fps with conservative settings. domokun 515 Posted August 15, 2016 Try disabling AToC. If not, try disabling FSAA. If not, try disabling AF (anisotropic filtering). Let us know what works for you.
Guest Posted August 19, 2016 ss9, I also noticed something different. viewDistance is fixed to the server viewDistance, but you can change freely the objects view distance. BTW, 1.64 will be a big update in terms of optimization! Can't wait for it! Don't rush, do it with calm! Need more time? ok! Need even more time? Ok! EVEN more time?? Ok! sniper_x002 43 Posted August 20, 2016 Turning off antialiasing/anisotropic filtering fixes it for me. can't remember which.
Guest Posted August 21, 2016 Try this command: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/setObjectViewDistance Arma 3 before APEX was perfect. Now they are tweaking all APEX changes. Remembering that APEX brough many Engines changes even for people that don't buy it. I payd for the game many years ago, and don't give then more money after that. But they are developing it for all those subsequent years, without no new money from me. I believe it's fair. I suggest then to charge per month, because i like to be a fair person too. Many times to solve a problem they are suposed to "go idiot"... and they search for better solutions.

R0adki11 3949 Posted August 24, 2016 And for the record. I had a product that worked just fine. That last few updates have made that not happen. "Patience" is worn pretty thin. I'm not talking about server view distance. I'm talking about having the view and draw distances and 6,000 meters and having buildings coming into view at maybe 3,000. This last patch again "fixed" what was not broken. So glad they all took a nice summer holiday after breaking the Arsenal, releasing an unfinished product that will never get fixed/finished, and driving my previously playable game performance into the toilet. I didn't pay them more money so I could hear shit about patience and holidays. As a suggestion have you verified your game cache, updated your graphics drivers etc? As i personally have a similar PC build to your except with a 970 Graphics Card, and i have no issues playing. I currently think it must be an issue with your setup and not necessary Arma3. With regards to your comment about patience and holidays, we don't need those sort of flame-baiting comments in forum posts. I have to assume you expect Arma3 Developers not to get a holiday, and have no life outside work?! I have to assume in what ever type of employment your in allows you take holidays, if so i can't understand how you think others shouldn't be entitled to some time off.
