Nice to hear that (not having graphical issues), stuttering is experienced by myself too. Not too much, but quite bigger compared to Altis. Then again, I play on a potatoe and have only 4GB of RAM which is quite noticeable. What's your CPU model and how much RAM you have?

Yes. But only after I re-downloaded and installed older Crimson version and disabled the updates. When I first tried, I downloaded the newest version, however it instantly changed my arma 3 resolution to some obscure nonsense of 1700x1100 or something, had to change it manually back to 1920x1080, then I noticed some errors and windows desktop manager stopping working each time I reboot my PC and I had Windows 7 permanently in SAFE MODE. Graphical issues were fixed ingame though but not despite noticeable FPS drop. So next day I re-downloaded Crimson 16.3.2 version (the old one) and everything is back to normal now. Should have tried that initially, because once again I learn, newest software is usually worse software in many ways.

After 1.62 update I noticed a massive increase in "flickering trees" when you watch them at distance. Uploading screenshots to show what I mean. It happens in Vanilla Arma 3, both Tanoa and Altis, so it is not a mod issue. After this update Arma 3 is almost unplayable, because instead of green trees I see white trees flashing constantly or sometimes no trees at all. you see those white spots where trees supposed to be? They are flashing in and out 4-5 times per second. I doubt it is my GPU issue, since I haven't had such thing before, well not so big at least and it was not ever lasting.

didn't know you were a troll, I am kinda new in these forums, just come by now and then. Once in a while.

Disappointed with lack of Interactability on Tanoa

when I first saw Altis and saw that building have no furniture I thought that's disgusting why devs didn't create beds and tables at least? Or something? Well then I tried original Chernarus and noticed that pretty much all buildings are closed completely. After a while I got used to Altis empty interiors, furniture would get in a way actually especially with the Arma 3 engine where your character gets stuck easily in stairs even or doors. Or walls. So I hope that Tanoa will have at least 30 percent of enterable buildings. Otherwise it's just pretty empty map. I like the nature of it, but being able to hide inside is what makes it realistic and actually quite moddable map/game. Even Kavala hospital, while partially enterable doesn't seem empty completely and it is a good thing. They should do more buildings in Tanoa like with Kavala hospital, or those office buildings in Altis. Partially enterable to hide from danger. Of course it is all to save FPS, but Altis is way bigger map and runs just fine. Well it doesn't have as many trees as Tanoa. At least Altis is not as dense in trees if you know what I mean, so maybe that's the reason. -
95 percent of arma 3 players do not even know Arma 3 has a campaign! Relax.

in real world car light beam extends only 1 meter in front of you? Gimme a break. Stop bullshiting if you have no idea what you are talking about. Unless you were joking, of course.

that's pretty fantastic art right there!

into a trash it goes... -
lightning now is useless and it is the worst thing that happened after this new update. What's the point of driving car with lights on if they extend only 1 meter in front of you? You either drive at 5km/h or just use NVG. Very poor decision, nobody cared about shadows anyway for 3 years. Instead of improving light they made it look like in some indie horror game were flashlight on purpose has a beam of 10 centimeters to make it spookier. Woooo..boooo..

the explain how they spot a player which just stood up from behind the cover while they are running away and instantly turn around 180 degrees and manage to quick aim? Been in this situation so many times that I find it weird that some people still do not know about it. It is only possible if they have 360 view. It may not trigger all time, but it always triggers if you behind AI backs and try to aim at them. They suddenly turn around and head shot you.
-
more like 360 vision. I have been spotted by AI multiple times when I stand up from cover when they walk away from me facing their backs to me (and 300 away from me!), and then instantly turn around, fast-aim and head shot me. If this is "good AI" that fanboys of arma 3 keep telling me then I don't know how to convince them otherwise. Such people are true believers, no facts could convince them that AI suck and playing against AI is pain in the ass. And I am sure turning everything on low could "dumb them down" but then again you lose other AI features that makes them good AI, so unless there is some feature which disables specifically 360 degree vision and X-Ray vision and ultra-sound echolocation, playing against them is no different than jumping in DayZ Crazy Russia server and expecting fair fights.

Is it just me or are the new sounds too quiet?
KPABATOK replied to HeroesandvillainsOS's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Tell me I am dreaming or not: did our blessed developers mess with Lynx sound or not? Because to me it sounded differently and I am not sure if it is because how long ago I used this gun (months) or was it updated in Eden patch?
