RoF 241 Posted June 30, 2016 I've forgot how to do this! How do I lower the terrain by 2m? I need it to line up better with the sea level.
badluckburt 78 Posted June 30, 2016 I don't know how to do it in TB (is that even possible?) but if you have L3DT, you can change the vertical range in the heightmap layer: http://www.bundysoft.com/docs/doku.php?id=l3dt:userguide:ops:hf:v_scale -edit Reading that page myself, just use the average altitude field and lower it by 2.
Frenzi_ 18 Posted July 1, 2016 In TB: 1. Terrain -> Edit terrain 2. Draw a box over your terrain to select all vertices. (You will see small red squares when you zoom in) 3. In the properties window, set: Elevation: m: -2 Action: Add (Leave the rest of the parameters as they are) 4. Click OK.
RoF 241 Posted July 1, 2016 Thanks for the help, I found the TB method the better of the two. Just as it's easier to check lol
Richie 330 Posted July 1, 2016 Doesn't setting it in the config do the same thing ? elevationOffset = -2;
RoF 241 Posted July 1, 2016 Doesn't setting it in the config do the same thing ? elevationOffset = -2; Doesn't bulldozer ignore your config.cpp? Would be a pain to get it lined up right, having to repack the map everytime.
lappihuan 178 Posted July 4, 2016 Doesn't setting it in the config do the same thing ? elevationOffset = -2; This only affects the elevation marks on the 2D Map afaik.
