I thought this thread was regarding the recent murder in Toronto which police are calling bloody sunday.

hmm .. no it's not

it's about the 1972 events in northern ireland when british paratroopers killed several protestors during a pcific march , these events are referred as bloody sunday

You should look for the unnoficial music video played to scenes from the anime movie Akira. I usually can't stand anime but that movie was an exception, and the scenes they chose for the video fit in perfectly with the song smile.gif.

Was this shown on British TV as a mini-series or one off TV movie? Because I'm sure I've seen it, there was a Jimmy McGovern (maker of Cracker) one and then there was this (I think) one shown within like 48 hours, I watched this one but I didn't bother with the Jimmy McGovern one, I already knew how it ended smile.gif

no , i think it's a classical film , i doubt it was originally a miniserie diffused in england , but i could be wrong

No, it was on TV over here. aired on ITV in January. I guess they felt the Anti-British tone of the film (somewhat unavoidable given the nature of the Event portrayed) meant that it didn't warrant a Cinema release over here. plus the "realistic" style of the film meant alot of people viewed it as dramatised documentary rather than as entertainment.

It got resonable reviews over here, however there was some critisism of the timing given that the latestEquiry into the events is still underway.
