Tovarish 0 Posted October 31, 2002 You should look for the unnoficial music video played to scenes from the anime movie Akira. I usually can't stand anime but that movie was an exception, and the scenes they chose for the video fit in perfectly with the song .

Placebo 12 Posted October 31, 2002 Was this shown on British TV as a mini-series or one off TV movie? Because I'm sure I've seen it, there was a Jimmy McGovern (maker of Cracker) one and then there was this (I think) one shown within like 48 hours, I watched this one but I didn't bother with the Jimmy McGovern one, I already knew how it ended
ran 0 Posted October 31, 2002 no , i think it's a classical film , i doubt it was originally a miniserie diffused in england , but i could be wrong
Placebo 12 Posted October 31, 2002 Baaah what would you know old man Yeah I'm pretty sure it's the same one, it was shown at Sundance in January. "Idiots" guide to what happened on Bloody Sunday. vade_101 0 Posted October 31, 2002 No, it was on TV over here. aired on ITV in January. I guess they felt the Anti-British tone of the film (somewhat unavoidable given the nature of the Event portrayed) meant that it didn't warrant a Cinema release over here. plus the "realistic" style of the film meant alot of people viewed it as dramatised documentary rather than as entertainment. It got resonable reviews over here, however there was some critisism of the timing given that the latestEquiry into the events is still underway.
