ceeeb 147 Posted May 5, 2016 I have succesfully used the Game Updater to install and update a secondary Arma 3 installation of the Dev branch for many months. Up till recently it has maintained the installation in the folder I initially told it to use (C:\SteamGames\steamapps\common\Arma 3 [Dev]). However, it has now changed it's mind and wants to install to another folder (C:\SteamGames\steamapps\common\Arma 3 [development]]). This is quite annoying, as I unless I change the folder each time I use it, I now have no choice in the matter. It has also downloaded and installed a third 37GB Arma build, wasting drive space and bandwidth. Please revert to old behaviour.
Tom_48_97 523 Posted May 5, 2016 This behavior is not intended. I've prepared a special build, can you try it? Download this archive Extract its content to ...\steamapps\common\Arma 3 Tools\GameUpdater Run GameUpdater.exe
ceeeb 147 Posted May 5, 2016 The special build acts like it used too, remembering my install folder between sessions. Nice work :)
