I finaly broke down and baught Res like 2 weeks ago. Then 2 days ago I finaly broke down and started on the Campaign. I started to love it. Started. I just got to the lovely tank and go mission. (Right after you steal the tanks) I've come to relize. I HATE TANKS. From both my team mates Sucking, to the fact that i turn the engine off to switch to a gunner.... and my tank starts to just roll. I've had it for the day. But god, why didn't someone make it Even Steven AI? I got shot twice by my own team mates. Twice. Both times I had been in a stationary position Taking down infantry with my Machine gun... then boom Sabot fire reigns down on me. I let out a Where the F*** did that come from? and long and behold... its my own Team mates. Come on, ONE infantry men is in my scope and I squeeze the trigger... but NO My AI support members have to go and hit me with a sabot. *sigh* just wondering if anyone else is having my Love affair with tanks in RES.

Yeah, the rolling of tanks is kinda annoying. I've never been in a real tank but I kinda doubt they'd roll down a hill.

As far as my own guy shooting at me I don't believe I've ever in any of the three campaigns been hit by friendly fire, but that is part of war.

Time to install the V1.85 patch. Not only do tanks brake much faster now when going downhill, they also won't roll on their own.

You can turn the engine off and even disembark, any they stay put.

I'm just joking. I don't know how to fix your problem, but I haven't noticed it on my PC. Maybe you should report it to tech support. But I guess that's why you came to these forums, heh.

If there is a dead Soviet crewman inside the tank you will need to get him out, otherwise your team-mates will still consider the tank enemy.

This happened to me in the mission where you steal the tanks. I ordered 2 of my guys to board a T-72 as a driver and a gunner, but as soon as they got in my other tanks just blasted it into pieces. Then I realized there was a soviet commander dead inside. So I boarded the tank as a commander, automatically throwing the dead soviet out and all was well.

As far as the rolling down the hill issue goes, I have no idea why it's happening to you, but with my 1.85 tanks are very firm on even the steepest hills. I have had no complaints about that whatsoever.

1.85 was a Godsend! It corrected all my 1.75 issues INCLUDING the tanks! As everyone is saying tanks are so much ebtter in 1.85... i havent really checked but i think the physichs in 1.85 are better than 1.46... Anyway try reinstalling flashpoint. maybe it didnt install the patch correctly?

No no no, There are no Dead crew men, lol. What happened was just stupid AI lol. There was a Rifle men running towards my tank, and instead of using a Machine gun, my "team" mate used his Sabot and hit me. Just stupid AI is all. lol, But The tank rolling thing is still bugging me, Its not 100% of the time. It just seems to always happen when i need to shoot first the most lol.
