Strange, AI won't die no matter what???

Heys guys got a very weird problem, been trying to have some lan party fun here the last couple days but problem is everytime i set up a cti mission (my preferred type) and i run into the enemy they won't die no matter what, i'm talking my ai gunner in my m2a3 was attempting to mow down some russian infantry and they would not go down, i was watching my gunner shoot specifically at this one particular guy and blood was just splatting all over the place from every direct hit but he would not die, it was like this with every single ei i ran into, vehicles he was able to waste with no problem but the enemy infantry were like wearing total body armor or something, any ideas possibly what this could be and whats causing it??? I even disabled quite a few mods thinking it was one of them but the problem was still there??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

What mods specifically are you running? Are the AI still moving/shooting after they die, or do they just cease all movement? Are you sure someone didn't put in a small script to make everyone invincible that may have accidentally been applied to AI?

Hi gman2900, I've seen the same thing happen with my vanilla Eden-edited mission and would like to know did you edit using Eden ? Are you by any chance using the garbage collector option in there ?

Using mostly RHS mods, leights opfor, spetnazt stuff, and some custom maps. And yes the ai are moving around freely but i did see my m2a3 repeatedly trying to mow this one ai down and he just stould there with blood splattering everywhere everytime he was hit but didn't move when he was being hit???

Don't "think" i edited anything with eden, but can't be entirely sure??? Whats the "garbage collector option"???

Need more info to go on. Can you do some testing? Test in editor, single player, server. If hosting, does it happen to host or clients only? Is this repeatable? Is it only on the mission your trying to load?

Ok, did some further testing & yes it still happens in editor, yes it still happened in single player and yes it was happening when i hosted (no friends around to test it with clients). And this popped up while testing in eden editor and could not get it off the screen, dunno know if it'll help or not but "mite" be a clue as to what may be going on???

Is your ACE3 mod fully up to date?

 

Updated ace3, but ei still not dying???

Did you test with different missions? That would be an extremely important test. If that doesn't do anything, try disabling ACE3 for now.

It was doing it regardless the mission, so i took it out and "wala" it worked!!! (ei could now be killed). But now i got another problem, one of my very favorite CTI missions (probably my #1 favorite mission) won't load upon a save because it relies on ace, so now what???

So that means it's either ACE3 itself for you, or its conflicting with another mod. An exact list of all the mods you have would be very helpful here. A specific thing to look for is another mod besides ace3 that has medical systems. Did everything work fine when you played that ACE3 mission with it enabled?

Heres all the current mods that i have enabled, and yes everything ran smooth as heck when i ran that mission it just gave me the message that after i saved it and tried to come back in "that it could not be launched because it depended on ace", but if it depended on ace in the first place then you would of thought that it wouldn't even of launched???

OK, yeah there was probably a conflict with the missions and ACE3. I would recommend reducing your mod sizes to only what you need. That is where you are likely having all of your issues. For example, only run ACE3 when the mission requires it.

That, and don't run ASDG Joint Rails AND CBA, as JR has been integrated into CBA for a long time now. It wont cause your issue, but it wont do you any favours either...
