EricJ 757 Posted October 13, 2016 The mission is not a specific objective mission (other than clearing the squares) so I would suggest not saving it or it's not setup for to be saved, which is good for servers and even LAN as Insurgency style missions (of what this is) don't need a specific save point. It's just how it works and recommended. True, you always start over but sometimes Insurgency missions are a grind in themselves too. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Or is there a briefing to give me the rundown of the basic mission rules (i.e. patrol and clear grid, avoid doing a, b or c, etc etc)? Saving and loading should be ok? EricJ 757 Posted October 18, 2016 Sorry the basic task of any Insurgency mission is to kill all the Ai in that square (change it from Red to Green). So far Saving is not enabled, and would recommend it not being saved due to the randomness of the mission (everytime you enter a square it generates a random chance of X number of people spawning and vehicles) so no, it's not enabled. Besides you're looking at about nearly 400 squares so its going to be awhile before you "clear all". Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Though the quote above is why I was asking about saving. Seems like there would be no way I could clear the map in one play through. No worries, though! Looking forward to it! HeroesandvillainsOS 1504 Posted October 20, 2016 Hey Eric J, I got all the mods for the SP Mogadishu mission and loaded it up briefly to make sure everything was working before I went to bed. The briefing mentions the use of Zeus game master. I'm not familiar with it and you seemed to imply using it was critical (or perhaps I misunderstood you on that?). Am I supposed to hop into Zeus to do anything in particular or can I just begin my patrol and play like normal? What's Zeus supposed to be used for here?
