Colince411 38 Posted January 5, 2016 I cant find any up-to-date information on how to get my map into Arma 3 after exporting it into WRP from Terrain Builder.
tazmania720 16 Posted January 5, 2016 This young mans videos are really good. I am well into my project because of him: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUiViqS-dLHruCtyGL_bHrYDgmgkNV2E5
Colince411 38 Posted January 5, 2016 Thats what I did to create this project "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFUMood_ZBg" (My Current One), But i still cant figure out how to insert my map into Arma 3.
tazmania720 16 Posted January 5, 2016 Tutorial 9 is the one you want to watch again. pboProject takes everything from your project folder, packs it up into a .pbo, and then you add it to your A3 directory (where you put all your other addons).
kerkkoh 35 Posted January 5, 2016 Edit: Didn't notice the post above this one but it explains the same thing :D CAPTNCAPS shows it in the pt 9, but technically it is just packing the project files up with pboProject and moving the outputted folder to your Arma 3 folder.

tazmania720 16 Posted January 5, 2016 download eliteness. It can be used to check all your files for errors.
RoF 241 Posted January 5, 2016 Are you using the config files from the youtube guy? His don't work if I remember right... Try using the the atlas guide one's, that what I used. http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=28049
Auss 208 Posted January 6, 2016 or you can use Altis or stratis configs and change to suit
SlimJim 0 Posted January 7, 2016 Hello guys :) I used both the YouTube tutorial and Atlas, after few days i almost feel comfortable to do it all myself :) Did you select NOISY OUTPUT in PBOProject(When i do thaton bottom of output it shows me exactly what lines in config ar whatever are wrong, it can be layers or anything i think lol)? And are you using his original tags for your test terrain? Cos i see a lot of CAPS_Gotland or whatever in there, i think it shouldnt be? I have one problem though, my map is working fine in editor, and i dont have any problem flying around it in heli, and have no errors while starting it or anything like that. Does that mean the map is ok? I am having problems creating an Exile server with it, im almost sure i am doing the mission file wrong for the server, but just want to make sure could it be any issues in my map addon?? Colince411 38 Posted January 8, 2016 I keep comparing my config files to other ones and i cant figure out how I am suppose to form it for my map. I'm very bad when It comes to coding and cannot for the life of me pick up on txt patterns. The current problem I have is using a pre-made .cfg file and filling in all my information. The problem is though, that I don't know what I'm suppose to enter. I've watched all the videos related on Youtube and downloaded all the tutorial .cfg files, but still nothing. Make sure you use notepad++ it makes things easier, also use the config files from the atlas guide. Then its just a case of find and replace "yourtag" and mapname etc
