Roach_ 52 Posted November 14, 2015 So I was previewing a scenario earlier and the power went out, and so did my PC. After starting up and everything, I booted up Arma 3 to get that "Welcome" message you get when you play it for the first time. I shrugged it off and went into the editor and saw that all of the arsenal loadouts were gone. Everything else seems to be intact, the campaign and any other scenarios are marked as done and everything. I validated the steam files, started up again and got the upcoming updates (Nexus, expansion) message, and yeah, the arsenal is still empty of loadouts. Any leads? EDIT: VR Training seems to have been reset as well as my best times on Firing Drills and lap times. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Jackal326 1181 Posted November 14, 2015 Have a look inside 'C:\Users\YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME\Documents\Arma 3 - Other Profiles\Your_ARMA_PROFILENAME\' and see if there is a file called 'YOUR_ARMA_USERNAME.vars.Arma3Profile'. I believe this is where your Arsenal Loadouts are saved. If it is there, then check its contents (though don't be alarmed if its mostly illegible - a snippet of mine looks like the below: Item82 ½0 Item83 Å’2 Item84 3 Item85 m3 Item86 *5 Item87 –5 Item88 6 Item89 €6 Item90 õ6 Item91 ]7 Item92 Ä7 Item93 68 Item94 ½8 Item95 %9 Item96 â: Item97 R; Item98 ½; Item99 eH Item100 ¡) Item101 * Item102 * Item103 ++ Item104 ‘+ Item105 , Item106 €, Item107 î, Item108 ^- Item109 Ç- Item110 g2 Item111 Ñ2 Item112 :3 Item113 §3 Item114 4 Item115 Ä4 Item116 .5 Item117 —5 Item118 þ5 Item119 d6 Item120 Û6 Item121 T7 Item122 ½7 Item123 {9 Item124 ç9 Item125 P: Item126 À: Item127 *; Item128 ‘; Item129 < Item130 |< Item131 é< Item132 N= Item133 ·= Item134 $> Item135 ÞE Item136 MF Item137 ¶F Item138 $G Item139 ñH Item140 fI Item141 ÉI Item142 AJ Item143 «J Item144 K Item145 K Item146 ôK Item147 nL Item148 ÙL Item149 AM Item150 ÂM Item151 N Item152 â€N Item153 O Item154 iO Item155 ÛO Item156 EP Item157 ³P Item158 Q Item159 Q Item160 ìQ Item161 WR Item162 ÃR Item163 =S Item164 Ç| Item165 B} Item166 ¿} Item167 *~ Item168 —~ Item169 Item170 t Item171 D Item172 ® Item173 ‚ Item174 ‚ Item175 ç‚ Item176 ¯„ Item177 }†Item178 ð†Item179 Y# Anyway, if the file is there AND has similar content I'm not sure what to suggest. However, the more likely issue is the powercut caused Windows to (for whatever reason) either delete the file or corrupt it to be unrecognisable by the game), as such you're SOL. Roach_ 52 Posted November 15, 2015 Yeah I do have the file and it looks like yours (even though I opened it with notepad since I doubt I have any tools for it). It just seems pretty weird. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Neviothr 102 Posted December 16, 2015 I've had this happen when I cleared Steam's cache with any anti-virus program. Perhaps your anti-virus does that automatically every restart. I don't know how to recover it, though. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I don't know how to recover it, though. It doesn't happen after every restart/shut down. Best guess is that something got corrupted. But it's fine, all good things must come to an end. bobd 5 Posted December 21, 2015 This happened to me too yesterday. My user missions are still there. If yours are you could try importing your units into virtual arsenal. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
