mdtorch 39 Posted September 27, 2015 Just discovered a youtube channel, which shows some awesome Arma 3 battle footage, with several vehicles and units I've never seen before in the game: SU47, MI-28, TU195, different submarines, functional large scale battleships, submarines, various different russian fighter jets, bombers, transport planes, aso... I think this stuff is much needed, in particular because we got the awesome USAF mod, the upcoming US Naval warfare mod, but nothing for their russian counterparts. This stuff looks like everything me and my m8s ever dreamed of in Arma, but I cant find more information about the whole thing. Tried to contact the author and googled some tags but I dont speak russian, so I couldnt make any use of what I found: Large scale battle with naval, land and air assets (really begins at 2:00): Some vehicles seem to be taken from CUP and RHS, but that doesnt explain those russian carriers, jets, helicopters, submarines and some of the ground vehicles. Complete russian airforce: Some units seem to be taken from the BWmod and again RHS and CUP... chortles 263 Posted September 28, 2015 Mind you, there's no telling how much of that BWmod/RHS/CUP content in the videos is actually illicitly redistributed by these guys and how much of it is just in the videos alongside whatever they're distributing... Are you sure? Thats sad. I would like to see that stuff on armaholic but 80% of the jets arent there -_-On the other hand, that questions should arise is presumably why this content isn't on Armaholic (besides distributor lack of interest in English-language distribution). They use Arma 2 mods in Arma 3 without any modification. They get a lot of errors but some basic actions works. As far as I know that is not illegal. I can already tell that the mod(s) in the video is a mix mash of tons of ported mods from Arma 2, all thrown into a skirmish. Basically, any jet, or battleship mod from Arma 2 mods, you'll likely find in that video, including the Kuznetsov and HMS QE. You are both, correct. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
