linuxmaster9 101 Posted June 18, 2015 (edited) The ACE3 Wasteland project has been underway for a few months now and have a dedicated server to handle development and production. Our current modset is limited as we work on porting to a different terrain and adding RHS. To join the server you need ACE3 3.1.1, CBA_A3, @HueyPack, and ALiVE. Filter for ACE3 and you will see a server called ACE3 Wasteland Testing Server. If you are interested in helping in the coding, let me know somehow. the following is the PWS link to the published mod pack. Dont use Chrome to open the link. linuxmaster9 101 Posted June 25, 2015 Im working on releasing a version without ALiVE but with Headless Client and RHS instead. Is there anyone who would be willing to help get ACRE2/TFAR, HLC and RHS squared away on the mission? Selecting units and such as well as selecting what spawns in what types of crates etc is not my strong suit. Especially with the massive array of options. The currently planned map is Bornholm. CaptainAzimuth 714 Posted June 25, 2015 I would suggest you guys ask the Wa.arma folk. SaMatra would probably be interested in such a project. I brought up the idea of a single ACE3 server for a test to see of people would like that, and considering they use the RHS and HLC pack over there, it seems like it's a match made in heaven. linuxmaster9 101 Posted July 19, 2015 i asked Sa Matra back in Arma 2 days and he said no. i kinda doubt they would do it.......even though they use mods already. All I needed was him to swap out the medical system with ACE medical. AgentRev of A3Wasteland did that for me with A3Wasteland. It works just fine. If Sa-Matra wants to fork ACE3Wasteland and do Sa-Matra ACE3 Wasteland, he can do so. A3Wasteland and the forks thereof are OpenSource with GPLv2/3. The thing I am going for now is replacing the stock VON with ACRE2 Omnibus. I just made a post in the Sa-matra forum under the suggestions category. Im no longer using ALiVE but when I was it was random patrolling groups but ones that had bases. I was trying to make them a 4th faction enemy to all factions. But i also only had myself and one other guy to test them, the rest of my clan couldn't come to grips with arma :( I've been working on adding stuff to it but real life has been getting in the way lately.
