fruity_rudy 16 Posted April 15, 2015 Hello there. I got this issue with the RCO, MRCO and the (opfor no idea how it's called)-RCO .. Sry for the video quality, maybe dont to fullscreen, but you can see what I mean. Depending on the surface or object I'm looking at, the scope does weird things and that's very annoying. Any idea what could cause that? I really love RCO's but not like that: https://youtu.be/RV2BlvaltTM
rockdpm 10 Posted April 16, 2015 Sorry but I didn't see anything offplace with this... I did however notice this issue with the new scopeshttp://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/717538489696744068/5051E40B91EF577291F33319B978E2C9BAECAC40/ (862 kB)
fruity_rudy 16 Posted April 16, 2015 Ok wait.. So this is "normal" for me http://imgur.com/sVX2h5f But when I look at trees or other objects, it looks like this.. These additional weird lines http://imgur.com/IMZL8Vs
da12thMonkey 1943 Posted April 16, 2015 Ok wait.. So this is "normal" for me http://imgur.com/sVX2h5fBut when I look at trees or other objects, it looks like this.. These additional weird lines http://imgur.com/IMZL8Vs It's caused by the Depth of Field post-processing blur. The additional lines appear when the view is focused on an object in the distance rather than the close-in reticle - a blur effect gets applied to objects that are outside of the focal distance. You can turn off DoF in the game options
fruity_rudy 16 Posted April 16, 2015 In this case, the view is focused on grass 2m in front of me, but if BIS thinks, that that this will happend if you look through a scope, I guess it's ok. I looked through a scope in real life already, the lines were always the same, no matter where I was looking at. So the only way is turn off depth of field? Oh boy ... Thx for the answer.. Jackal326 1181 Posted April 16, 2015 So the only way is turn off depth of field? Oh boy ... Thx for the answer.. That, or don't aim at grass 4 feet in front of you :D
fruity_rudy 16 Posted April 16, 2015 well it's not only about the grass in front of me.. It's also on other surfaces.. I'll just pick another scope then ;)
