persius 10 Posted April 10, 2015 I just gave Marksman DLC a try under my "Learning" option and I have a question. The rifles have bi-pods so that should stabilize the rifle when prone. For me, the rifle is always swaying which suggests the bi-pod is not deployed. Is this just happening for me or to everybody? If the bi-pod can be deployed then how do I do this? Thanks. Brisse 78 Posted April 10, 2015 This question has been asked a thousand times, and is completely flooding the forums since the patch. I think reading it so many times is making me go CRAZY !!!
Brisse 78 Posted April 10, 2015 Thank you. [sarcasm]Which one? Me, or "[EVO] Dan"?[/sarcasm]
persius 10 Posted April 10, 2015 Well, Evo provided the answer while you only provided a comment. :)
joostsidy 685 Posted April 11, 2015 Persius, Arma3 has dozens of button options, you can't ask them all on the forums. Why didn't you just open up the configuration menu and looked for 'deploy bipod'? If you hadn't looked there yet, I recommend you do! There probably are lots of functions that you don't even know existed. Happy sniping! ;-)
persius 10 Posted April 11, 2015 Hi Joostsidy I don't know what you mean by "you can't ask them all on the forums". I only asked about one key, the bi-pod. Nothing more. :)
joostsidy 685 Posted April 12, 2015 No offence, but I was a little bit annoyed by your post. It is titled 'Sniping in Arma3', so I clicked on it expecting an interesting discussion about sniping in general in Arma3, maybe tied in to the new DLC. However, it was just you looking for someone to tell you to press 'C' to deploy a bipod. It kind of annoying to see these simple questions in a forum which can be answered by looking in the game itself or by a Google search. "you can't ask them all on the forums": now I'm afraid that you will be back when the expansion comes out asking more button-press questions. :-), please promise me you won't ;-) EDIT: don't let this discourage you to contribute to the forums of course, don't want to chase people away :-)
Jackal326 1181 Posted April 12, 2015 §21) Use descriptive thread titlesIf you start a new thread, please make sure your thread title explains what you want without forcing people to read through your post first. Thread titles such as "How in the world do I...", "Need help!" or "Will we ever see..." are anything but descriptive. We do not allow these kind of titles and threads with such titles are subject to be closed. Might I suggest a more fitting title "I'm too lazy to goggle this or to look in the control options, can someone tell me the 'deploy bipod' control?"
