eazye 10 Posted April 3, 2015 Hello, I want to make a mission that utilizes agm which I assume would require others to have it in order to play it. Question is since I made so many custom changes to my own agm by deleting half the pbo's and changing some controls would that affect the players own version at all. Example would be if I disabled the medical system on mine and did not place any modules, would they be able to still use it if they kept it on their version? Also in reverse, if I kept the medical system and they deleted theirs would they still be able to use it in mission?
Gunter Severloh 4072 Posted April 4, 2015 First, AGM has its own thread, you should be using that for any questions regarding AGM. 2nd, Any discussions outside a thread for a mod is a no no, I dont want to be a forum rule nazi or anything of the sort but as i said the mod has its own thread, and your breaking a forum rule here. 3rd, Any mission you build should not require AGM if your running AGM, unless you place any modules on the map, then the mod is required. as for another person playing the mission, it dont matter what your running or what their running, a mission needing agm would have modules on the map you placed, so if you used a certain module, or some feature that adds a function to the mission, like a new unit for example (which it dont) then you best apon release of your mission stipulate which module or file is required, as you have said you have curtailed the mod for yourself. Hope that answers your question, but in the future use the AGM thread, goes for every mod that has a thread.
