exiledgamer 10 Posted April 3, 2015 Hey there everyone, Recently, while working on my terrain, I've been having a serious issue. Whenever I open Buldozer to edit a section of the map, Terrain Builder in the background will freeze up when it is selected. This is a real issue because it means I can't save anything that I've been working on, and I have to force restart TB whenever this happens. Any suggestions or fixes? soapboxsubmarine 11 Posted April 12, 2015 most likely theres something wrong with your layers.cfg. I have the same issue, and have found out that this happens when it cannot load the material in. Eg: "Cannot load material file a3\Roads_ae\data\highway.rvmat." Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

This errormessage never caused TB to freeze as far as I remember. @EG, I suppose it might help if you save your work and uninstall everythings (I mean ArmA3 Tools). Once you have installed it again, so use Mikero Tools to do things like mounting P and packing Projects and stuff (if you already do so...Forget about it). Afterwards get all your stored works back in P drive and try again...but I would furthermore suggest that you start a testing Project...may be 256x256 map with just one texture, just to see whether TB and BD are working properly again....good luck though I don't think I have had this problem. How are you launching TB? From where? soapboxsubmarine 11 Posted April 12, 2015 yea, but this happened to me just 1 hour ago. What i did was this> ran bulldozer>very quickly just before its finished loading in i alt tab back to terrain builder and middle mouse click>then it will freeze for 5 sec approx>then you should see theblue bulldozer marker move>then i minimize TB and you should see buldozer fine and be able to use TB as well. This fixed it for me, and also i realised that i had issues in layers.cfg because buldozer gave error message. So i fixed this, and now>no freeze. i dont know if this is your issue, but anyway, you could try if you want. Good luck! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
