Wiki 1558 Posted March 25, 2015 Hi guys. I got a weird thing in my extension menu: I have one thing that appears (I can click on it to activate it), but there is absolutely no name or anything whatsoever. http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/944415arma32015032523435379.jpg Any idea what that it or how to get rid of it? Thanks!
OMAC 254 Posted March 26, 2015 Are there any mod folders in your a3 profile that contain missing or corrupted data?
Wiki 1558 Posted March 26, 2015 No, I removed/deleted all my mods folder.
Greenfist 1863 Posted March 26, 2015 I think he meant your arma3profile file. It's a text file you can view and edit in notepad for example. In it you'll find the section for mods. (Don't remember what the exact name is, but you'll find it with a little bit of scrolling). You can remove the whole mod segment or just the unnamed one. Remember to backup the file first, unless you're 100% sure what you're doing.
Wiki 1558 Posted March 26, 2015 Yes, it's the Arma3.cfg file, and I already checked it out: there is nothing in the extension line... :(
Greenfist 1863 Posted March 26, 2015 No, I'm pretty sure the extension menu mods are in the <profilename>.arma3profile file, not the arma3.cfg.
Wiki 1558 Posted March 26, 2015 I have no "extension" line in my arma3profile file :( Only thing I got is in the arma3.cfg, and it's this: class ModLauncherList { };
Greenfist 1863 Posted March 26, 2015 That's the one; ModLauncherList. But yours is empty? I had the same "ghost" mod problem some time ago. Deleting the faulty entry in that file fixed it. Stupid question: you don't have another arma3profile file in the \documents\Arma 3 - other profiles\ folder? Wiki 1558 Posted March 26, 2015 Nope, I don't. ---------- Post added at 12:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:23 PM ---------- And that's what appears when I enable it: class ModLauncherList { class Mod1 { dir=""; name=""; origin="CONFIG"; }; };
OMAC 254 Posted March 26, 2015 (edited) Now I too have the blank entry in expansion menu after updating to current dev branch build. Does it have something to do with the new Launcher configuration? Perhaps it is meant as a menu separator between activated and deactivated mods? Edited March 27, 2015 by OMAC
Wiki 1558 Posted March 26, 2015 Dunno. I'm in stable branch. I think it appears since the last update (maybe)

OMAC 254 Posted March 26, 2015 Using -nolauncher param on launch of current dev build, this is what I see for expansion menu:

That's the reason for that entry.
Wiki 1558 Posted March 26, 2015 I don't use +nolauncher, but get it anyway...
I give up 152 Posted March 26, 2015 I have it since long time. Even after a clean install is there. Anyway, it helps separate enable from disable.
Wiki 1558 Posted March 26, 2015 Hope BIS can fix this
