chrisb 196 Posted March 23, 2015 I have been watching a few videos on YT about this and some of the cities players have designed. Really good designs are coming out of the game, just wondered if anyone has played this type of game and what they think of it. Greenfist 1863 Posted March 24, 2015 Last city builder I played was some SimCity in the early '90s. Never found these kind of games interesting since, but this one I just had to buy. Mostly because it looked amazing and I just wanted to support the tiny but ambitious developer from my home country. And I'm glad I did; the game is awesome! I really like the casual and "easy" gameplay of it. There's not much challenge in keeping the city and its people alive, but if you want it to grow and run smoothly as possible, you really need to pay attention and plan carefully. chrisb 196 Posted March 25, 2015 I'm very tempted, keep watching videos and thinking, that's great but wouldn't it be better if... So maybe I should buy and find out. I'll probably end up with a city where the population die out or turn to crime, with huge traffic tailbacks and crumbling infrastructure. Nicholas 5 Posted March 25, 2015 Considering they only made this game with 13 people and it is what SimCity 2013 should have been, it is well worth the $39.99. One of the greatest city simulation games around. If you liked SimCity 4 but hated SimCity 2013, get Cities: Skylines. Cities: Skylines isn't quite up to par with SimCity 4 as far as how in depth it gets, but it is 1000x better than SimCity 2013. It also looks eerily similar to SimCity 2013.
