dontknowhow 33 Posted March 20, 2015 https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/descendentstudios/descent-underground Don't need to add anything else, do I? As to the people working on it, looks like they have worked on quite some titles, most notably Star Citizen. Maybe it can become something
andersson 285 Posted March 24, 2015 Couldn't find any info about head tracking. That is a make it or brake it for me.
dontknowhow 33 Posted March 24, 2015 Couldn't find any info about head tracking. That is a make it or brake it for me. Really? Wow. I've seen a few people mentioning that and the Oculus. I don't think they have fixed plan yet. It depends on the resources. The old Descent was great. If the Rift is as good as they say playing Descent with it must be really cool
andersson 285 Posted March 25, 2015 One would think they add it as the earlier versions had it. But all I can find is potential users talking about it, nothing from the devs. All I could see was VR discussion, nothing about head tracking from the devs. But I guess if they make it oculus compatible head tracking will follow. Maybe it's such an obvious feature that they have forgotten to mention it, but i would like it confirmed from devs :) This game alone would make me buy an oculus. Would be such a mind blow to play it in VR with my CH HOTAS :D I wouldn't care if I had enemies or not, just to fly around trying to get the brain to grasp everything with a sick bag handy :P
chrisb 196 Posted March 25, 2015 I didn't like this game the first time around, but it may be better this time. I know that many that play ED that use OR say its a different game, which thinking about it, is handy. ;)

If they make a new one with the Rift it's better to call a doctor first I have seen someone giving it for granted. Not sure where he took the information from. Indeed nothing from the developers. Not that they will do it, not that they won't. I guess it's just too early EDIT: wait, the video on the kickstarter page, at the very top. Actually, not the video: its placeholder, before the video starts. The 4 icons on the left: Windows, Macos, Linux (yes!!), and... I didn't like this game the first time around Blasphemy!! One of the best games ever. I wonder why it took so long for a remake. If this one succeeds, that is. Edited March 25, 2015 by dontknowhow

dontknowhow 33 Posted April 12, 2015 wow, they raised less than 602k with a goal of 600. Tiny margin, but they made it. Curious to see what happens now
